There was extensive water damage on both floors of our house. Robert was very responsive in determining the cause of the damage and had considerable knowledge of what would be required to restore the house. His company was very proactive in working with the insurance company on helping remedy the financial aspects to restore the house to its original condition.

We had a water damage and we contacted several companies to repair the damage. We initially hired another company to mitigate the damage. Despite of knowing that we had hired another company, Robert visited our house for a second opinion, advised us on the next steps, and assured that the company we had hired was indeed doing a fine job. We were so moved by that gesture, that we ended up hiring Hawaiian Construction to damage repair work. They did a fantastic job. We are super impressed with their professionalism and quality of work!

Robert and his team is super professional. He helped me evaluated work needs to be done and estimation which got my insurance approved smoothly. The team also responded to questions and requests promptly with transparency. The reconstruction work overall was also solid and professional. I would consider working with him in the future if I have any projects coming up for sure.

I had a fire in my living room ceiling caused by the wood stove flue and when the Fire Department was done, I had a real mess, a hole in the roof, and a cracked wood stove glass door when the fire department sprayed the hot stove. Hawaiian construction was only contracted to do the living room damage but they went far beyond that, which I am so very thankful for. Before they could really begin, my deck needed to be rebuilt because it had collapsed. So the part needed was rebuilt by Ramon and he built it even better than the previous one. I was impressed by how well it was done. Next, they had to replace the whole floor because it was warped from all that water, then the whole wall behind the wood stove and the whole ceiling. I asked them to sheetrock the ceiling rather than the standard manufactured home ceiling, and they did, which looks much better. After all the repairs, they painted the whole living room, then they painted the next adjoining room and the dining room and into the master bedroom and then the master bathroom. They painted all of those rooms, and ceilings. After carpeting the living room, they also carpeted all of the other rooms they had painted as well! They even repaired a hole in the ceiling of the master bathroom, and in the floor. They really surprised me with a lot of the things they did. Even a new kitchen floor. They even replaced my garbage disposal, a complete surprise to me! The insurance company said they would not replace the wood stove because it was the cause of the fire. Then I was really surprised when I walked in the house and found a new wood stove waiting for me. I don't know how they did it but I was very grateful for that and very shocked they had done it. They did tell me they like to do extra work for veterans, a very humble understatement, and they went far beyond just extra work. In fact, they did so much that I may have left something out. Altogether, they repaired, carpeted, painted, and replaced things in three fourths of the entire house, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, when the job was to be for a single room! I can't imagine they even made much for the job. They did so much extra work they may have even taken a loss for all I know. And I'm even late leaving this review, for which I must deeply apologize to Hawaiian Construction. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing repairs to their home. The work is great and they take care of their clients.

Hawaiian Construction restored my bedroom and laundry room after a water damage event occurred. It was a pleasure working with Robert, Julie, Tracy, Jake and his team. My expectations of a professional contractor were fulfilled. The team always arrived at the appointed times, contacted me about any delays and completed the project in a timely manner. Jake and his team made sure that I inspected and approved of the work at every stage. The completed project was reasonably priced. I could not have asked for a better outcome. I would gladly recommend Hawaiian Construction to any of my friends and family and/or hire them again for any future work.
